Hello, I am Alex, head trainer and owner of The Prominent Dog Training Academy. My passion is working with dogs, and after retiring from the Marine Corps, I decided to turn that passion into a career.
I have attended multiple dog training schools across the country along with seminars led by industry-leading dog trainers. Utilizing this knowledge, I've honed my craft while working for non-profit organizations by training service dogs for wounded veterans. I've trained and mentored new dog trainers at boarding and vet facilities in the Midwest and Southern United States.
In all my years working with dogs and their families, I've learned the best method for each dog is rarely the same. Each dog is an individual and each family wants something a little different in their dog's training.
I've worked with aggressive, fearful, young, and old dogs, and I've helped bridge the gap between dogs and their families. I focus my training on teaching the owner and dog how to properly communicate and live together. My goal with training is to give everyone a Prominent family pet — one that you can take anywhere and do anything with.
